Hair & Makeup Guide

Having hair and makeup done for recital is important because it helps dancers look polished and confident on stage. Stage lights can wash out features, so makeup ensures expressions are visible to the audience. Uniform hairstyles create a clean, professional look and keep hair out of the face, allowing dancers to perform their best. Plus, it adds to the excitement of the big performance!
